Got the Blues!

Feeling blue today. A day of tears! A whole church full, and the tears are still coming down.
Will be even worse next week. Not sure how to handle it but I will.

My church is closing. My mom and dad were married there 40years ago, she was baptized there too. Both my bro and I were baptized and confirmed there, both my boys were baptized there. My mother said she planned on having her funeral there "now what?" she said. A bit of a scary thought but she had everything planned even has her obituary written so I don't have to worry about anything. Crazy!! Even crazier is last month her saying I have a month left for it to happen. She giggled but still not a cool thought. This whole situation really stinks! Makes me so sad! Been through so much, my faith was tested so many times and I kept getting up thanks to my friends and God! God has a plan and as of right now I say his plan sucks! How do you keep the faith when the one thing that is always there for you is gone. Friends come and go, people grow old and pass on, you get a job you loose a job, you move from place to place if you want, you have pets that come and go, economy goes up then it drops, you make money you loose money, you get married you get divorced, you have children and then they grow up and move on. See all the good things that happen and bad things too? Excitements and let down are all part of life. Its normal, its the cycle of life. The one thing that is always there, the one thing you can always count on, the one thing that you believe will never leave is your faith, your church, your god. What do you do and how do you feel when that one thing you totally, whole heartedly trust in seems to crumble? After 125 years of service my church will close its doors. Next Sunday I will walk out the doors of the church holding my children's hands with my mother for the last time. God Why? Whats your plan? It better be good!

I know god loves me, but damn this kinda love hurts like hell! Grrrrr

This my Church! The one place I always felt safe! Please say a prayer for my family and all the other families of St. Johns Episcopal Church!

"NOIR", The Magical Night!

I've blogged about "Noir before", and I'm going to again. Noir has a very romantic atmosphere. It's all black and white with a setting from back in the days of Casablanca. Noir brings out a different side of people, a side of romance and love, the side of passion and lust. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date and more. A ro0m to dine in with full waitress service, passionate dances and piano to end your night just right. It is a must see place.

Thursday night happened to be one of the most magical nights at "Noir". We have had a few wonderful evenings dancing and mingling with friends in Noir, but this night was different. The feeling of romance was so strong amongst some and the excitement of others were high. An amazing night was about to happen, a night we would not forget. Here's how it went.

One of my favorite SL musicians played that night. Onehempcat, with McMuffin by his side played the most amazing set of songs, Roses and champagne, dancing, lots of friends and DANNY on one knee! That's right Dannyboy was on one knee!

Some knew what was about to happen and some didn't, but Danny was ready and waiting for the perfect time to ask the love of his life to marry him. A bit nervous and overwhelmed with excitement I trembled, Dannyboy did too. LOL. Just playing, yes I was very excited but Dannyboy was on top of the world, truly, 100% ready!

Knowing the time was near Arie and I started to clear the dance floor, asking some to slowly head to the sides, trying not to lead on to Veronica that we were putting them center stage. It's happening , it's really happening.

Onehemp cue Dannyboy that it was time, he played their song, "Can't Fight this Feeling", by REO Speedwagon. And down he went, on one knee looking up at the beautiful angel he saw in front of him, he began to pledge his love and ask Veronica to be his bride!

We all watched as Dannyboy told her how much she meant to him, we read every word he said waiting for a reply. My body was so warm I even teared a bit, I can only imagine how Veronica was feeling. Two, three and four times more excited and overwhelmed.

We waited for Veronica to reply. Her eyes were sparkling while looking down at the man who makes her so happy! She replied with the perfect answer "YES".

It was the most magical moment I have ever seen. Why Arie and I were so nervous I don't really know. We know how much in love they are. We know how happy she is and proud he is! We knew she would say yes. But still we felt a bit of relief when she finally said it.

The excitement didn't end there, people didn't leave. And why would they Hemp was still there keeping the room filled with music, keeping the love in the air. For those of us that were not coupled up, we weren't disappointed. We watched the happy couple dance, we smiled as we thought about that beautiful moment, some of danced alone, some of us danced with each other. YES, its OK for 2 friends to dance together. Why not?

What a wonderful, magical, amazing night it was at "Noir"! I night we wont forget!

Today is Sunday, my day. :)

So here is me. Like it, don't like it, I don't care - it's me - it's who I am and I like it. Be my friend, be my lover, be my sister or brother if you like me for me then just be there by my side! :)

Well here goes it!

My favorite food! Anyone? Come on you know! Its spaghetti. I am Italian you know see "GINA" hmmm Italian name? Yup!

The Good thing is I'm not a spaghetti Monster!

There are monsters you know? And there is actually a spaghetti Monster! Honestly, look!!!

His Noodliness, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the ultimate truthin the universe. It is the central point of worship in the religion commonly known as Flying Spaghetti Monsterism or Pastafarianism, according to which it is The Creator and Overseer, watching our lives and our world, changing them as it sees fit, by use of his most holy noodly appendage.

Geesh hope the spaghetti monster is watching over me.

So Spag's the food and GREEN is the color! Not green spag. Eeewww thats just gross.

The Color green symbolizes hope and growth. Green is also associated with regeneration, fertility and rebirth for its connections to nature. Green is also used to describe jealousy and envy, as well as anyone young, inexperienced, or gullible. Didn't think I was a jealous person but the green in me brings it out, seen it a couple times now in SL. Oooo A green monster. That's 2 monsters in my life. LOL

Emeralds and Kermit! Oh the Muppet's, I miss the Muppet's! Kermie was my favorite. Now I know why he is green!

Emeralds for my fingers and my wrists, my ears and my neck. Happy Happy, Gina's happy now. mmmmm

Lets see what else is Gina! Its all about me. I'm 30 something years old. LOL That means I was brought up in the 80's. When music rocked! MTV was launched and Music videos got big. We had Hard Rock, heavy Metal and pop, damn we had it all... Madonna, Michael Jackson and Cindy Lauper. Van Hale, Kiss and Led Zepplin. ACDC, Twisted Sister and iron Maiden.

And my FAVORITE all time band, the "Eagles". That's right "Get Over It" The Eagles Rule. It was a time for big hair, leg warmers and skin tight painted on jeans. $30.00 for a shirt with the collar ripped off and a cut down the front of it. Tie die t-shirts and stone washed jeans. OMG I just thought about men with long hair oooo... Sexy!!! Woman with Big hair, men with long hair. /me sooooo smiling. I loved the 80's.

Pac-Man, Space invaders and Super Mario Brothers. The start of video game trend. Look at us now, kids don't even go out. It's all about the video games.

Oh and the movies, Flashdance, footloose, terminator and my all time favorite 80's flick "GREASE" It's like totally the best movie.

Sure I'll marry in SL, yes I'll partner, no I don't want children (but being an aunt would be cool)(hint hint arie)Then I can be an auntie B. RL from SL possibly but don't let that scare ya because being in SL and not RL is good too.

Talking about myself makes me remember who I am and why I am who I am. And I LOVE ME! I know its all about me but I'm getting tired. LOL Funny tired of being me. Nope! Just tired of writing about me.
