Episode (Boat Party)
Well, every Tuesday night I used to serve dinner aboard the PW Princess and would have live enterainment on the ship (This started back up on Tuesday)! This specific Tuesday night was a special night for me.
The night started off with dinner being served to what I consider True Norths most popular couple, Sable and Willard. Sable and Willard came to every Tuesday night's dinner and entertainment, they attend each party True North has including the Roof party and on the ice.
There was no live entertainment this specific night. Willard and Sable didn't mind and I'm sure the other couple didn't mind either. Guessing I'm the only one that minded. Chris my manager said not to worry about it, but if you truly know me you know that I'm a thinker, and that causes much worry. In need of finding someone to keep my guests happy I contacted my ships captain, Captain Slarti. Of course Slarti came to the rescue he always does, see Slarti wasn't only my captain he is also the #1 DJ in SL. I know he says #2 but he is #1 in my book, Aries too. Since he is family I guess we can be a bit bias. Well, to rescue me he tossed his captains cap and turned on the DJ role. "What kind of music" he asked. Love songs of course. Grrrr, love songs? Not really Slarit's thing. But love songs it was. April and Tudie did a great job serving the couples that were dining (as they usually do) when dinner was through Slarti kicked it up a notch and went to what he does best. 80's, woohoo. 80's chick here! God I love the 80's, big hair, leg warmers and tight jeans. mmmm so loved the 80's.
So now I have music, diners and staff but no captain. Geesh I need a captain. Hmmm, seems I'm in need of rescuing again, I always need to be rescued one way or another. blah. Hearing that I needed a captain my friend Lee bailed me out, didn't even have to ask him. He even went and bought his own captains suit. He was there for fun and dancing, now he is working. If that's not a friend I don't know what is. Anyways, Lee stood there mingling with the crowd that Slarti pulled in, mind you it was DJ Slarti so we had a good crowd. Lee looked dashing in his new captains suit and did such a fabulous job, that I gave him a permanent Captains title. "Captain Lee". (By the way Captain Lee is now Djing too so if Slarti isn't free you can contact Lee.) Two captains now. I hit the jackpot! YAY
It was an amazing night. Tudie and Aprilrox decided to party with after dinner was done. That's when the party really started.. Not often do I see them not working but tonight. hmmmm tonight. I saw April in a different light. We danced our asses off. Can I say that in a blog? Asses. Hell ya ASSES! We did. See how skinny they are we danced our assess off. hehehe
Arie, True North's very own neko queen was present the night of the boat party with her man Brock.. Together they danced to the awesome 80's tunes. Was such a perfect night one thing was missing. Gina was staning there watching when Bon Bon showed up. YAY Bon! My late nights are his early evenings... Waiting for him was always hard but well worth it. My friend and dance partner was here, now Gina can dance! Wooohooo..
All we needed was for Chris to come dance. Chris stood there manning her post making sure that she took care of all the duties a manger should care for. Ya well if the owner was able to dance then her manager should too. Dance lady, dance! OK so now the floor is packed we are all dancing... Special night yes, fun night absolutely tons of friends having fun.
What honestly made this a special night for me was Slarti. Slarti was gone for over a month but was finally back. We weren't sure if he would return, but we knew he was missing us and hoped he would come back to us. Well he did. Of course he did we were here and who's better then us NO ONE. LOL OK maybe his RL family. But his SL family was important too. *smiles* The special part was that this was the first time I heard him play since he started his fun back in SL. And I was lucky enough to have him on the ship. YOU RULE!!
Leaving "Back in Time" for a moment I have to tell you that we had another special night on the PW Princess Cruise. Our very own Christiana switched from her manager cap for the night. She switched to LIVE PERFORMER. Chris was unbelievably awesome, her voice was amazing and her song choices were fabulous. She even played one of my favorites. Thanks GF. So now my captain AND manager have two roles on the ship and I only have one. LOL
