MISS ME?

Really haven't been sure what to write about lately. RL or SL. Still not sure. So I figured I will write as I go, you know "Wing it"! Cause that's what I do. Life's been absolutely insane in both worlds. Work is work and play seems to be work too.. Good? Sure why not, it can be.
Lately work has been on an adoption agency. Tiffany, Meg and Stefan are all in on it too. Totally thought it would bust. Was hoping to spend sometime with my friends and build. Never imagined it would succeed and turn into work. Yet here we are with a wall of
kids and a wall of parents. Even had to extend the walls to add more. Crazy I tell ya. OMG and today I had to ban another parent. Not only are some parents in RL crazy the ones in here are too. HAd two fighting over a child that neither of them had even met yet.Its been a year now, some of you know what that means. And I want to THANK YOU for being there for me then and for all who are here for me now! Luv you guys sooo much. Thanks
Oh BTW

I'm Smiling!

Who are you?
OH, a little update on the church situation. After being a gypsy jumping from one church to another since my church closed 2/1, I have finally found a home. Some said you'll know right away if its for you or not. I have to say that its true! I walked into a church and just felt right. Wish I had tried this one first. Met some good peeps on the path to find my home. But now I found it, as Bon said "Just in time for Easter". :) Thanks again for all who supported and prayed for my family. TY!
Luv Ya

Thank You
My family tried a new church this past Sunday. Didn't like it much. Might be because its the first church since mine closed, IDK. But it just didn't seem right. I'm going again next week and the week after, then we will move to another church and see the difference. We Will keep moving until we find the one that fits my family best. I've been told that when I find the right church I'll know. Guess you just know it when you get there!
ehind me and beside me keeps me strong enough to keep going.THANK YOU ALL MY FRIENDS!

Its Over
Last night was an amazing night. We celebrated being opened for 125 years. Celebration of being open then closing the doors the next morning just didn't sound right to me. I was actually upset about it, well actually I was mad. Many others at the church thought the same. But the more I sit here I realize it was a good thing. It was more of a blessing I think.
Because of us being open for 125 years, the Bishop came to celebrate along with every pastor that preached at St. John's over the last 125 years. At least the ones still alive. Not sure they would have come just to say good bye. We all had a chance to see, meet and visit the Bishop. We talked with other pastors, we ate dinner with members of other Church's who came to celebrate and say goodbye. The church was soooo full. I haven't seen it that filled since I was a little girl. My boys and I stood in the back of the church with a dozen other people because all the seats were filled. The aisles down each side had people standing in them and the singing was soooo loud. It was truly an amazing night. We all laughed and we all cried. Talk about crying. I had my prayer book blessed by the Bishop, and cried like you wouldn't believe. I was holding the prayer book in both hands, after he blessed it he covered my hands with his and just said "It's OK, everything will be OK"! It will be! Having this celebration the night before the closing I think was to give us closure on everything, to see everyone and help us move on happily. I think we needed that. I know I did.
Today's service which usually only goes 1 hour ish, went much longer. It was very emotional, tissues were in each pew. The children did a little skit about us closing and starting new. In the skit they had "The Book of Life". The book that already has our lives written. This was helping them to understand that everything happens for a reason. That this is supposed to happen, this is bringing us to the next chapter of our life. That the end of one chapter is the beginning of another. All the children lined up together for communion. I took a picture and will post it tomorrow, hopefully with some others.
Giving peace took for ever. LOL Everyone left the seats and gave peace to everyone else. We hugged each and every person there. :)
We had a slide show of clips from way back when, right up to this year. One section I think said "Look how we shine". It showed people shining in a special way. Well, one of the pictures was me with my thumbs in my ears making it look like I had antlers and sticking my tongue out. Yup, that's me shining. My kids laughed hystercially along with many other people.
At the end of the service everyone just kinda stood there. Like no one wanted to leave. People started kneeling and crying. Eventually we started leaving.
Before I left the church I brought my boys back up to the alter. It was quiet, very few people were upstairs most were downstairs talking. I had them kneel with me at the alter and look at the stain glass window and read what it said along the bottom. It was our last goodbye to St. John's. A memory that they will now never forget. A memory I will never forget.
Thank you everyone for your prayers! My children did read all your comments. I cried and they comforted me. :) Silly boys! I was trying to remind them how much people care and let them know everything is OK. Instead they hugged me and reminded me that it was going to be OK. My boys are awesome!
Thank you everyone! I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Love you all!

ITS ALL ABOUT ME!!
It's time I think of me!
I have decided that today is my day!
"It's all about me day...."
Today is Sunday, my day. :)
So here is me. Like it, don't like it, I don't care - it's me - it's who I am and I like it. Be my friend, be my lover, be my sister or brother if you like me for me then just be there by my side! :)
My favorite food! Anyone? Come on you know! Its spaghetti. I am Italian you know see "GINA" hmmm Italian name? Yup!

The best green of all is:
MONEY MONEY MONEY
Wonder if Lindens are Green!Lets see what else is Gina! Its all about me. I'm 30 something years old. LOL That means I was brought up in the 80's. When music rocked! MTV was launched and Music videos got big. We had Hard Rock, heavy Metal and pop, damn we had it all... Madonna, Michael Jackson and Cindy Lauper. Van Hale, Kiss and Led Zepplin. ACDC, Twisted Sister and iron Maiden.

And my FAVORITE all time band, the "Eagles". That's right "Get Over It" The Eagles Rule.
It was a time for big hair, leg warmers and skin tight painted on jeans. $30.00 for a shirt with the collar ripped off and a cut down the front of it. Tie die t-shirts and stone washed jeans. OMG I just thought about men with long hair oooo... Sexy!!! Woman with Big hair, men with long hair. /me sooooo smiling. I loved the 80's.
POISON!!! MMMMM SEXY IN THE 80's.
God I loved a man with long hair!
Pac-Man, Space invaders and Super Mario Brothers. The start of video game trend. Look at us now, kids don't even go out. It's all about the video games.
Oh and the movies, Flashdance, footloose, terminator and my all time favorite 80's flick "GREASE" It's like totally the best movie.
OK so, there's a bit of Gina for you to know. It's all about me today!
- What does Gina believe in most- Take a look at my profile if you don't remember or you just don't know! HONESTY AND TRUST! Live it, breath it, don't forget it.
- Gina's favorite animal- Monkey
- Gina's favorite pet and her name- Dog, princess
- Gina loves the beach and hates the snow. GO AWAY SNOW! Btw its snowing as we speak Grrrrrr.
- Gina's favorite Holiday- Halloween. A few of you know why. LOL Comment it if you remember. If you don't its OK. I'll remind you why around that time.
- Gina's priority- Family in RL, my BOYS RULE!.
- Second priority- Friends, in RL and SL!
Sure I'll marry in SL, yes I'll partner, no I don't want children (but being an aunt would be cool)(hint hint arie)Then I can be an auntie B. RL from SL possibly but don't let that scare ya because being in SL and not RL is good too.
Talking about myself makes me remember who I am and why I am who I am. And I LOVE ME! I know its all about me but I'm getting tired. LOL Funny tired of being me. Nope! Just tired of writing about me. Think you know enough? Probably not, there's tons about me you don't know. If you know something about me that someone else might not put it in the comments. Let's get to know me because "It's all about me today. It's my day!"
We should have a All About Me Day!!
